I had Hunter fly out to inspect my first yacht and it was a great experience. I buy lots of cars sight unseen and have had many surprises when the car gets delivered, I was expecting the same thing but was pleasantly surprised with this outcome. We agreed to all travel costs upfront, had a full timeline and schedule for the survey and had the report back to me within a day from when he inspected the boat. I will 100% use Hunter for my next purchase

Hunter has saved me thousands and countless headaches thanks to his diligent work and ability to locate real issues with many different types of boats. His skill to find the real issues is what is most valuable. I've had too many surveys where they only find the obvious... Hunter goes above and beyond as if he was purchasing the boat himself. Hunter assisted us with a power catamaran purchase on the other side of the world in Thailand. He was extremely professional and dedicated to the endeavor. It was a long trip and upon arrival and clearance through customs, he got straight to work. After two days of surveying the vessel, he headed home and had the report to us the day he landed. The report was very thorough. So much so, we still use it today when looking for specific serial numbers on items. His mechanical inspection said the boat was in good operating condition and we have now run the boat up and down the east coast without issue. Any deficiencies call out allowed us to negotiate with the seller and set a plan ahead of time to address. The insurance company accepted the report with no issues. We simply completed his priority recommendations by a certain date and moved ahead. I highly recommend Hunter's services as a surveyor and as a professional. His background won us over and we are happy with the quality results in the survey.

Hunter's experience and knowledge of boats is so extensive and his ability to communicate accordingly will put you at ease. He is thorough in his survey with much attention to detail and you'll receive the report quickly. He says 24-48 hours...but 24 hours is typical. I would highly recommend Hunter for your next survey.
