Habitat for Humanity of Broward

Habitat for Humanity envisions a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat Broward was founded in 1983 and has placed more than 400 families in decent, affordable housing to date. We build 20+ modest homes each year, serving workforce members who cannot afford homes or conventional mortgages in Broward's cost-burdened market. We rely heavily upon volunteers and sponsors to make this possible. Habitat for Humanity's Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Habitat Broward offers a hand up, not a hand out to low-income families who are unable to qualify for conventional financing but are willing to work hard to improve their family’s lives.
