National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA)

The National Marine Representatives Association is a national organization serving marine industry independent sales reps and the manufacturers who sell through reps. Founded in 1960, this professional association serves as an industry voice, networking tool and information source, promoting the benefits of utilizing independent marine reps for sales. NMRA also helps manufacturers find the right marine sales reps for their product lines. NMRA publishes an annual membership directory, the Marine Industry Supplier Information Manual and a quarterly newsletter. It holds annual membership meetings and communicates often with its members to update them on important issues. NMRA also sponsors the annual Mel Barr Award, named after one of the founding members of NMRA.
