Montauk Anglers Club & Marina is a full service marina located on the northeast corner of Lake Montauk across the street from the Montauk airport. The marina is a non-smoking property which offers an onsite restaurant, dockside water and electricity, free wifi, bathrooms and showers, as well as diesel and gasoline pumps with a high speed diesel pump on our outer dock.

Focused on sport fishing, Montauk Anglers Club is situated less than one mile from the inlet, with quick access to off-shore fishing on Long Island and easy access to the recreational waters of Napeague Bay, Gardiners Bay, Peconic Bay and beyond. Rhode Island is a fisherman’s delight and a paradise for both the experienced angler and novice. The diversity and abundance of game fish found in Rhode Island waters provides angling excitement throughout the year. Most saltwater game fish are available for fishing year-round with some species having limited fishing seasons. The most popular saltwater game fish in the state is the Bluefish and Striped Bass with the bluefish considered the finest fighting fish in the Atlantic. Both these species can be caught from May through November. Rhode Island is also a key travel destination for trophy Striped Bass. Other species quite popular are the black sea bass, summer flounder, scup, winter flounder , tautog, the American eel, monkfish, haddock, weakfish and winter flounder.

For offshore action, anglers can pursue tuna, shark and cod. Giant Bluefin Tuna that have been recorded and exceed several hundred pounds have been known to visit the “Ocean State” waters in the late summer and fall.

Captain Rob Taylor (USCG Licensed) of Newport Sport Fishing Charters located in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island. Captain Taylor has been fishing the waters off Newport, Block Island, Narragansett Bay and the off-shore waters of the south coast for over 15 years. A Newport resident, he has extensive knowledge of the southern New England waters; and prides himself on finding fish and ensuring his customers leave with a great hands on, educational fishing experience.
