We are walleye charter fishing out of Erie, PA and own a 3 generation business combined with Small Program Charters that has been operating Lake Erie PA walleye charters since 1980. We target trophy Lake Trout in April & May, Pennsylvania Walleyes all summer and deep water Steelhead in late summer and fall. We only fish in PA waters of Lake Erie.

Welcome to Dutch Fork Fishing Charters, fishing out of Erie, PA & Conneaut, OH We have 28 years Lake Erie experience and 15 years fishing the professional walleye circuit. With our multi species boat we are able to use several ports in PA waters to maximize your success to not only catch a limit of fish, but try for that trophy of a lifetime. We fish from early may well into November, which is earlier and later than most charters here. Slow trolling, casting and jigging trips are available, but slow trolling ( a controlled drift) is your best opportunity to catch a ton of fish. We encourage clients to be a part of the crew and bait hooks, set lines, net fish, and make fun of your buddies when they lose a fish!

Lowrance Chart Recording Sonars, Shakespeare Marine VHF
Radio, Cell Phone, Electric Downriggers and Big Jon Planer
Board Systems. All tackle and bait is supplied.

Eerie Eyes is inspected annually by the United States Coast
Guard for your safety and is fully insured.

Rough House Charters specializes in Lake Erie Pa fishing charters for Walleye, Perch, Lake Trout, Steelhead, and Smallmouth bass. Rough House Charters fish the central and eastern PA basins of Lake Erie, which is known for its trophy sized, quality fish. We utilize the latest in trolling techniques, baits, and quality equipment for targeting big Walleye, giant Lake Trout, hard fighting Smallmouth bass, and beautiful Steelhead. We have quality spinning rods and reels for targeting Perch and utilize specific baits for catching these species. We encourage our anglers to handle rods, set and reset lines, and be as much a part of the crew as we are. When the central basin of Lake Erie begins to warm and the water temperature reaches the mid-50's, low-60's, the walleye begin to group up in wide spread schools along the 50-60 feet depth of water. Normally, on any lake or reservoir as the water temperature warms the bigger fish move to deeper, more comfortable water. Lake Erie is a prime example of this. Easy accesses to colder water and bait fish such as smelts and alewives ( high protein forage fish found in cooler water) make it simple to understand why trophy walleye find their home in the waters off Erie, PA. Later, in mid July and August, the fish move even deeper into the depths of Lake Erie. Walleye are caught on planner boards, while the Steelhead and Salmon are caught with downriggers at the same time. How's that for excitement
