Pre-Purchase (Condition and Value) SurveyA Pre-Purchase, or Condition and Value Survey, is an over-all inspection of the vessel in the water, out of the water, and during a sea trial to find the general condition of a vessel before its purchase. The inspection includes inspecting every part of the vessel that is accessible including structural, electrical, plumbing, tanks, and mechanical systems. The engines will be inspected externally only and observed how they operate. The rigging will be inspected from the deck only. A full report will be emailed to you within 24 hours of the survey which will include the fair market value.
