He is a licensed USCG Captain and has delivered vessels up and down the coast. He is a Master Marine Surveyor with USSA (United States Surveyors Association) Member #91120. He also holds certificates and certifications in Accident and Fraud Investigations from ABYC and USSA.

He has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and has conducted hundreds of criminal investigations. Capt. Scott conducts in depth investigations of marine accidents, claims, and fraud.
