Campbell Yacht Survey
Campbell Yacht Survey (Southwest Florida Marine Survey) offers comprehensive inspections on power and sailing yachts for private individuals and commercial accounts alike. Captain John Campbell, an independent Accredited Marine Surveyor of SAMS®, and member of ABYC, personally serves Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Bonita Springs, Naples, Marco Island and all of Southwest Florida including the Florida Keys, on boats from 20 to over 100 feet. Utilizing the standards of both ABYC and SAMS combined with Campbell's own extensive experience in engines, hulls and electrical rigging, clients get the most complete report available. A detailed Marine Survey is a primary need in any investment or insurance decisions regarding a marine vessel.
Even a new vessel purchase in today's marketplace is recommended to use a pre-purchase Marine Survey. A comprehensive list of recommendations gives clients negotiating power and confidence to close their deal.

Proper Yacht Surveys
With more than 30 years of professional maritime experience, Capt. Bob Harding founded Proper Yacht Surveys to assist clients with surveys of vessels being considered for purchase and to provide an unbiased confidential evaluation for lenders and insurers. Additionally, consultation in regards to a vessel’s repairs, restoration and upgrades are services provided by Proper Yacht Surveys.
Bob’s early years of living and cruising aboard the families 45’ wooden yawl from Maine to the southernmost Caribbean Islands formed his foundation and love of all things marine. A licensed USCG Captain for the past 32 years, a former Service Manager at two yacht dealerships, a yacht maintenance company owner, a licensed broker and a graduate of Chapman’s School of Seamanship Yacht and Small Craft Surveying leads to the experience and knowledge to provide detailed valuations, reports and findings on a vessels overall condition.
Surveys performed by PYS are compliant and referenced with the standards set forth and established by United States Code & Federal regulations (CFR’s) as they pertain to safe boating practices. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the voluntary standards and recommended practices of the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) are also referenced through-out the survey report.

Growing up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida I have been involved with the marine industry for thirty five years. I worked as a crew-member on several power and sailing yachts, and worked for two boat dealerships rigging, operating & selling power vessels. After four years sailing for the Navy, and receiving an honorable discharge, I pursued a B.A. degree in business and went on to get my United States Coast Guard Sixteen Hundred Ton Oceans Master's License. I have worked on USCG inspected and licensed vessels. I am credentialed by the Nautical Institute, and Licensed by the U.S.C.G. I have also worked in the marine insurance industry for many years.

Connor Marine Engineering
Connor Marine Engineering was founded by John Connor in 1985 as a specialist in custom marine hardware and preparation of custom performance and racing boats. In 1990, it's headquarters were moved from California to Fort Lauderdale, Fl, the hub of large powerboats. One of their most recognized projects has been the Gentry Transatlantic Challenge, which resulted in setting the world record of 62 hours 7 minutes for crossing the Atlantic from New York to England.
Connor Marine then re-designed this ocean racer into a luxury yacht designed for personal use, a very complex task. The re-fit was so successful that Showboat Magazine nominated Gentry Eagle for top honors. Even with the extra weight of luxury accomodations, she was still able to hit 73 m.p.h.
The history of Connor Marine features involvement in many of the boating industry's major successes. John Connor, the company's founder, has participated with manufacturers in developing successful hull designs throughout his carreer. He was an integral part in the development of offshore tunnel hulls and surface drives. Connor Marine's model testing projects have ranged from megayachts through race boats and performance yachts down to inflatable boats.
Why utilize Connor Marine? The answer is simple - it takes the most qualified talent to produce the greatest products. Connor Marine offers a combination of abilities that are rarely found under one roof.
