Dave Anderson began Dave’s Custom Upholstery in 1982 with one sewing machine, one spoil of thread, and a dream to take care of and provide a better life for his family. Dave’s Custom Upholstery was born, from meager starts Dave happened upon a man by the name of Jerry Michealac who saw Dave’s talent and offered him a chance to work with the design team at SeaRay Boats. At SeaRay Boats worked with Jerry and his visions and developed Dave’s talent and skill at marine design. Dave even designed a couch for the 40 foot yacht line they said couldn’t be built. SeaRay builder’s couldn’t duplicate it quite right so begins the full-production division of Dave’s Custom Upholstery.
