The Bradenton Boat Club is located at 12160 Cortez Road on the Bradenton mainland just 1/3 mile east of the bridge to Bradenton Beach. By water, the marina is just a 2400? canal ride from the Intercoastal Waterway between the mainland and Bradenton Beach, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Islands. Cruise 2 miles south to the nearest gulf pass or enjoy daytrips south to Sarasota or north to Tampa Bay, the Manatee River and downtown Bradenton.

Carefree Boat Club was founded in Virginia in 2002. Since then Carefree Boat Club has become the premier boat club operator in the US and Canada and we are continuing to grow. Everything we do is based on operating at the highest standards in the industry. Our membership ratios are strictly maintained (ten members for every one boat), as are the quality and upkeep of our boats. Our goal is to provide our members with the highest quality boating experience, to provide a safe and easy intro into boating for new boaters and to offer the best variety of boats and ports possible. Our ultimate goal is to make boating fun, easy and affordable.

The marina has 7-day docks that are available for boaters to tie up and enjoy a meal in one of our great restaurants, come to special events, or check out the many cool shops in the downtown area. Day docks are free with use less than 24 hours. Restrooms, a picnic shelter and tables, and a children's play area are located in Edgewater Park, across from the Marina.

Thanks to the City of Dunedin, the boat ramp is open to the public. Anyone using the boat ramp must purchase a permit. The permit does not guarantee a parking space. It is best to come early as parking is limited. Permits are available at the Harbormaster's Office. There are also slips available for monthly rental.
