Michael has a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineer with 20 years of experience in the marine industry as well as the communication and medical industries. Our technicians have experience with installation, diagnostics, rigging, and boat building and maintenance. We offer bench repair for Garmin Electronics and Radars. Our technicians are NMEA certified and have attended many different manufactures, in-house training classes. Our client base ludes the USCG, Manatee Sheriff’s Office, Clearwater Fire, and Rescue Marine Unit, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit, charter boats, commercial boats, boat builders, boat dealers, and the general public. Marine Electronics Engineering is a mobile-based company and we serve all of Tampabay and south to Sarasota, including Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Sarasota counties.

Shelter Cove Yacht Basin is located on 17 acres and offers 150 wet slips, 28 of which are covered, 9 are reserved for transients. The marina can accommodate boats with a max LOA of 50 feet, with a max beam of 12 feet. High/dry rack storage capacity for 100 boats with year around forklift service is also available.

The marina boasts a loyal customer base. In addition to offering convenient access to the Chesapeake Bay, the marina provides a variety of boat storage options, repair/maintenance services, and many customer services.
