Guist Creek Lake is the county’s largest lake and one of its best kept secrets. In a serene, rural part of the county, deer, turkey, and other wildlife are seen frequently near the water. Our campground is available from March 1st through November for primitive or pull-through RV camping. There is also a marina with a boat launching ramp and a well-stocked supply shop.

Longbow Marina on Cave Run Lake on Cumberland Ranger District is privately operated under an agreement with the Forest Service. Rental boats, camping and fishing supplies, fishing licenses, and detailed maps of the lake can be purchased at the marina.

Located on U.S. Hwy 68 at Jonathan Creek, vacationers will find Sportsman's location ideal for enjoying all that the Kentucky Lake area has to offer! For some of the best golf courses in the state, to some of the best fishing in the United States, the Kentucky Lake area offers endless opportunities for boating, sailing, hiking, biking and enjoying the outdoors.
