Bottoms Up Detail began as a mobile boat detailer in spring of 2003. Nick had years of experience cleaning and bottom painting boats working at a marine as a kid. After stepping away from boat detailing for a few years, Nick was asked to detail a co-workers boat. Nick took the opportunity to dust off his Dewalt buffer and buff this gentlemen’s boat. After seeing the results he remembered how much he enjoyed detailing. So the customer told his friend, and he told his friends, and so on and so on. With all this happening Bottoms Up Yacht Detail was created. Nick has always had a passion for cars as well, as a teen he would always clean and detail his own car every weekend. A boat customer once asked him to detail his wife’s car, he did and Bottoms Up Yacht Detail became Bottoms Up Detail. Boats turned into cars, cars turned into motorcycle, motorcycle, turned into motor homes and trailers.

F.L. Tripp & Sons is a full-service wet and dry storage marina, located on the Westport River with complete access to the Atlantic Ocean. We have 176 slips and 189 moorings. Mechanical services available are: Inboard and outboard sales & service. Boat service includes carpentry, gelcoat and fiberglass specialists. Complete boat commissioning service for preparation, bottom painting, washing and waxing are available. Rigging, hauling, and launching are included in our repertoire. In summary, we can handle most all of your boating needs! We provide electric service in 30 amp 50 amp. Launch service is available at a modest charge for our mooring customers.
