Our 36-foot downeast boat, Shearwater, is docked at a slip in Chatham's scenic Stage Harbor, which provides access to the best fishing in the Northeast. Shearwater has a 13-foot beam and a fully enclosed wheelhouse which provides a comfortable, dry ride in all weather and sea conditions. The boat has plenty of room for taking up to 6 anglers on each trip. Shearwater is outfitted with: top-of-the-line Simrad electronics; Shimano Tiagra reels; L.T. Marine gaffs, harpoons, and swivel rodholders; 500 HP Cummins diesel engine; 34-foot Hamaguchi greenstick; 19-foot outriggers; tuna door; gin pole; in-deck fishbox; and 75-gallon livewell.

Unlike most charter businesses we are not locked into one location. The boat is stored on a trailer and our 2018 Tundra allows us to follow the fish in style! If the weather is not ideal in one location we can usually find a productive sheltered area to get you out fishing. Depending on the season and what your target fish species we could be launching at one of many locations in MA & RI. Our fishing season starts off in Buzzards Bay towards the end of May. We start the season off togging and soon after the stripers, blues, scup and sea bass fishing explodes.
