Sail Newport is "Rhode Island's Public Sailing Center" offering affordable access to sailing instruction, rentals, Try Sailing! regattas and events. Programs are offered for all ages of children (starting at 5 years old) and adults and all skill levels. From beginner to advanced to racing. The world-class Sailing Center at Fort Adams State Park has ample free parking, two and three-tons hoists, ramps and beach for launching, special event dockage, dry storage for sailboats, mast hoist and other amenities. Dockage is by special permit only. The non-profit also hosts many local, national, and world championship regattas. Visit sailnewport.org.
