Founded in 1909, East Greenwich Yacht Club's mission is to encourage the sport of yachting, to promote the science of seamanship and navigation, and to provide and maintain a suitable facility for recreational use by the membership - and, as always, for our members to enjoy boating on Narragansett Bay and beyond.

In 1933 the Essex Yacht Club began with a simple mission: to promote excellence in yachting activities among its members, including racing, cruising and off water club activities.

The GYC is a small family oriented working club, located on the banks of the Connecticut River. The members build and maintain the docks, put the docks in the river, and take them out of the river.

The Hartford Yacht Club was incorporated on June 26, 1895. The original club location was on the East Hartford side of the Connecticut River in the area of the Founders and Buckley bridges. We are now located on Tryon Street at the Glastonbury/Portland border. ? We are a working club where all of our members take part in supporting the club by joining work parties to maintain the docks, building and the grounds. We also ask all members to join one of our committees that are in charge of operating various aspects of the club. Finally, we ask that our members attend and enjoy the amazing food, friends and fun at the club's regular social events including our famous clam slam event, spaghetti dinner, Halloween party, Christmas party, and Kentucky Derby party.

Niantic Bay Yacht Club is comprised of 250 memberships and is primarily managed by a committed group of sailor members who volunteer their time to promote a friendly family sailing environment.

The Rhode Island Yacht Club is a private club, surrounded by Stillhouse Cove in historic Edgewood. Founded in 1875, it is the oldest yacht club on Narragansett Bay & among the one of oldest in the country. RIYC maintains a long history and strong traditions of competitive racing and giving back to the community.
