Standish Boat Yard stands out as a quality, full-service boat yard. We are currently celebrating sixty years of service to our community of recreational and commercial boaters. Some of the services and facilities we offer include slips, transient and seasonal moorings, gas and diesel fuel, a pump out facility, showers, engine repair, hull repair, winter storage and a 25,000 lb. capacity crane for hauling and launching. We carry a wide variety of products in our marine store, including Interlux paints, Petit paints, Sunfish/parts and service, electronics components, we are a Puffin dealer, and much more.

Despite being a fully functional boat yard & a success in the community, it started to take a turn for the worse in the late 1990’s. In 2004, Richie Patten took on the daunting task of bringing back what the boating community had lost. Working through the abandoned boats, damaged buildings, & lack of customers, Richie managed to re-create the full-service yard of the 1960's that seemed to have been forgotten. Richie, his 2 sons, Richie Jr & Shawn, make up the dedicated team at A&J. Together they continue to build the business & grow despite an uncertain economy.

Conanicut Marina, Conanicut Boat Yard and the Conanicut Marine Ship's Store & Chandlery are located in Jamestown, R.I. at the mouth of the Naragansett Bay, one mile west of Newport harbor. Seasonal and transient deep-water moorings and dockage are available. Marina guests enjoy clean facilities, a courtesy island shuttle and easy access to the Jamestown Newport Ferry. CMS has a modern, full-service mechanics shop for fiberglass repairs, Awigrip paint, and rigging, staged by professional craftsmen and certified technicians; service and parts for all major engine manufacturers such as Cummins, Yamaha, Evinrude E-TEC, Honda, Yanmar and Westerbeke. Engines are available at the Chandlery, as well as clothing, shoes and gift items. The Boat Yard has 10 acres of outside storage for all size vessels and plenty of indoor and climate-controlled storage.

Duke Marine is ABYC certified and registered with the coast guard to build boats!
