Cranberry Island Boat Yard provides boat storage, repairs and maintenance for fiberglass and wooden boats. We also custom build the Western Way 19, a classic style boat that is fast and dry.

Ellis Boat Company is located in Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island. Started by Bunker and Ellis in 1945, Ellis Boat Co. continues to build custom Downeast lobster boats, luxury cruisers and everything in between on fiberglass semi-displacement hulls designed by Ralph and Donald Ellis, in 20- to 40-foot models.

Hewes & Co is an employee owned company in Blue Hill, Maine with a 20,000 square foot shop producing CNC machined parts, structural components, millwork, and custom cabinetry for boats and residences.Recent projects include a 90' strip plank curved walking bridge, curved mahogany trolley windows, a 16' sundial, and numerous hull & cockpit moulds.

Whether you need a single plank replaced or the entire hull reframed and planked, we are fully equipped for carvel and lapstrake planking as well as cold molding. We are recognized for our skill in extensive structural and mechanical retrofits and restorations on both wooden and fiberglass vessels. We handle boats as large as 60 feet in length.

Equipped with a 60 ton Travelift, Moose Island Marine offers inside boat storage and repair to boats of fifty feet in length or 50 tons. We are Maritime skiff, Tohatsu Outboard, Yanmar Diesel, and Volvo Penta dealers. We provide electrical and electronics installations. We also do wooden and fiberglass boat restoration and repair. Winter repower and restoration jobs at a discount.
