In business since 1982, Bowden Marine's full time year round operation sells and provides certified service for Boston Whaler and A-B boats, Mercury, and Yamaha engines. Hours are M-F 8:00 am to 5: pm and Sat. 9:00 am -12:00 noon in season.

Cranberry Island Boat Yard provides boat storage, repairs and maintenance for fiberglass and wooden boats. We also custom build the Western Way 19, a classic style boat that is fast and dry.

Whether you need a single plank replaced or the entire hull reframed and planked, we are fully equipped for carvel and lapstrake planking as well as cold molding. We are recognized for our skill in extensive structural and mechanical retrofits and restorations on both wooden and fiberglass vessels. We handle boats as large as 60 feet in length.

Jonesport Shipyard is a convenient place to haul out in the fall and continue cruising the Northeast the following summer. We have several moorings in the cove which can be rented while you are aboard or when you take a side trip by car. Roque Island, Grand Manan, Brier Island and Campobello are within 4.6 and 34.5 nm. A day or two of sailing gets you to St. John, NB, or Nova Scotia.
