The vision of local developers Bernie Jackson and Gerry Kocis opened as Bowers Harbor Landing (“The Marina”) on January 1, 1990. Composed of 50 docking slips, the Marina is located in the northeast portion of Bowers Harbor on the west arm of Grand Traverse Bay, seven miles north of Traverse City on Old Mission Peninsula. All 50 slips (24 30-foot, 24 40-foot and 2 50-foot) are governed by long-term private leases and are fully-occupied, although transients are frequently accommodated when lessees are away on cruises.

Located just across the bridge from Montague in beautiful Whitehall, we are the perfect location for you to call home during the summer. We are a full service marina offering slips, service and storage. Our slips range in size from 30’ to 50’ and we have transient slips up to 105’. For your convenience, we also offer fuel service and a pump out station at the end of the fuel dock. Our indoor heated storage facility is 57,000 square feet of party sunny and 50 degrees all winter long. For those of you that like to work on your boat throughout the winter, you are welcome to come inside and do that. For everyone else, let our team take care of your repairs during the winter months. Our technicians are Factory Certified from Mercruiser, Crusader, Universal, Westerbeke, Kohler and Yanmar just to name a few. Crosswinds Marine Service is also White Lake’s only Factory Authorized Mercruiser Parts and Service Dealer.
