Founder, inventor, and boating enthusiast Jake Stewart came up with the idea for Flack Jaket after many conversations with fellow boaters who were looking for better protective solutions for their boats. Jake, who proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, thought about the body armor he wore in the Marines and how and if it could be used to protect boats. After thinking on it, and after hours of work and several prototypes, in 2019, the first Flack Jaket was born.
