Prior to Surveying vessels John worked in Boat Yards from Kittery Maine, to Ft Lauderdale, Florida as a diesel repair technician. John held a 100Ton US Coast Guard Masters License for decades with a tow and sail endorsement, now retired. John has spent years on the water, delivering vessels from the Caribbean to the East Coast, Maine to Florida, South America to North Africa, and the Intercoastal waterway, wintering in the Bahamas for the past two years. This experience is very useful in helping you decide what type of vessel suits you for your intended purpose. Our survey recommendations are based upon US Coast Guard Regulations, National Fire Protection 302, Code of Federal Regulations 33CFR and Voluntary Standards of the American Boat and Yacht Council.
