Melvin Village Marina Canvas Company has opened at Melvin Village Marina in the original marina showroom and office. It is fully stocked with the latest machinery, including a Brother computer controlled embroidery machine, a Juki five thread over lock surger sewing machine and several Juki walking foot long neck sewing machines. Janya Gladu was a top graduate of the Smolensk School of Textile Arts in Central Russia and holds a Masters Degree in Mathematics from Smolenskiy Pedagogicheskiy Institute. With 30 years of experience in canvas and upholstery, Janya has been producing high quality, extremely precise work, consistently on schedule. Janya can accommodate everything from small repairs to complete interior replacement and custom canvas. The shop can house up to four boats at one time and has overhead clearance in excess of fourteen feet. Depending on the size of the job, work can usually be completed in a matter of days. Many times, there is no need to bring the boat to us for repairs or replacements on individual cushions. We also operate a weekly pick-up service at many of the local marinas on the North side of Lake Winnipesaukee. Work can also be dropped off at our Ossipee location.

A proud member of the Common Man family, Town Docks opened in 1999, and offers classic summer favorites like lobster dinners, tasty salads, fried seafood plates, burgers, dogs and more. Don’t forget our own home-made ice cream! Dozens of flavors to choose from, and always served in generous portions!
