Conveniently located on the Delaware River between Penns Landing and the Delaware Bay, the Marina is also close to the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay via the canals.

Our goal is to provide our members with the highest quality boating experience, to provide a safe and easy intro into boating for new boaters and to offer the best variety of boats and ports possible. Our ultimate goal is to make boating fun, easy and affordable.

The Crescent Boat Club was formed in 1867. Men back from the Civil War merged two rowing clubs, the Pickwick and Iona clubs, and after receiving a declaration from the City of Philadelphia, built the current boathouse along the bank of the Schuylkill River.

The Ocean City Yacht Club, established in 1901, is rich in both history and tradition. We have one of the most active and competitive sailing programs in the Mid Atlantic region including bay and offshore racing.

Established in 1958, the South River Boat Club is a working club with about sixty-eight members at the present time. Some of our members have been with us for more than 45 years. As a working club our members participate with the up-keep and maintenance required to make this club as safe as for all our members and guests.b
