The Canada Lake Store and Marine has been a family owned and operated business for over 30 years. It all started out in 1973 with the purchase of a small general store in the Southern Adirondack Mountains on beautiful Canada Lake. Today, our store still maintains the quaint feel that it did years past, but now provides more items for our shoppers, such as a Gift shop, Lake Effect Cafe, Ice cream dip cones, and an expanded deli and signature sandwiches. In 1979, we expanded into the Marine industry by becoming a Mercury outboard engine dealer. Today, our Marina has grown to include new and pre-owned boat, motor, and trailer sales, a full service center, a parts department, and two large winter storage facilities.

Chic’s Marina has been serving the Lake George area for over 50 years! We have the largest rental fleet on the lake, renting Boston Whalers, Carolina Skiffs, Godfrey Pontoon Boats, Princecraft Pontoons, Palm Beach Pontoons, and Veranda Pontoons. We sell new and used Boston Whalers, Princecraft Pontoon Boats, Palm Beach Pontoon Boats, and Yamaha Waver-Runners. We also service and sell both Mercury and Yamaha Motors, and offer INSIDE covered storage. We also offer Wave-Runner Rentals, Banana Boat Rides, Fishing Charters, and have a Waterski and Wakeboard School on site. We are a one stop solution for all your on-the-water fun for your family’s vacation.

Bernie’s original idea was to start a business to produce injection molded plastic products (Bernie’s field of expertise as an Engineer). He and his brother Robert, constructed the first building in 1989 on property he had bought from his mother.To pay for the building the first few years Bernie decided to store boats and cars. After the first couple of years passed by, he realized there was a high demand for boat storage. Due in part to his love of boating he then decided to focus his efforts in this area. The business continues to grow with customer service as our main objective. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality products and services possible, making their boating experience carefree, memorable and exciting.
