Noroton Yacht Club, founded in 1928, is dedicated to promoting family participation in sailboat racing and recreational sailing. The Club is located in the Darien Harbor, just West of Long Neck Point, with easy access to Long Island Sound. The Club has a rich heritage of one-design racing. Noroton's members are currently sailing J-24's, Sonars, and Vipers. In addition, the Club has a fleet of over 50 Cruising boats. Our boats participate in Club races as well as other local, regional, national, and off-shore distance racing and cruising events. The Club has six Ideal 18's for the recreational use of all members.
