Yankee Boat Yard & Marina, Inc. is a full service boat yard and marina located along the Connecticut River in Portland, CT. Our location has a long history, originally as a boat building operation in the early 1920’s and 30’s, and as a boat yard from that time up until the present. We have approximately 50 slips along the river and we accommodate up to 30 boats on ball moorings for our summer boaters. In the winter, Yankee Boat Yard has capacity to store up to 400 boats on land including indoor cold storage as well as indoor heated storage.

We have new, spacious state-of-the-art facilities for our mechanical, paint & fiberglass repair, woodworking, welding & metal fabrication shops. There is a parts department and a fully stocked ship’s store on site to service the needs of our marine customers. Anything you might not see in stock, please ask. We can get it for you for the next day. Our service employees undergo continuing education programs to keep up with the on-going technological advances of the boating industry. We are an authorized Yamaha, Volvo and Mercruiser dealer for gas and diesel engines.
