The Boat Shop offers the finest products and services available. Our staff consists of experts in all areas of recreational boating. We manufacture custom boat covers, do hull and bottom repairs, are the only personal watercraft dealer on Lake Wallenpaupack, and are a factory-authorized part and service facility for almost all engine and drive systems, including Evinrude, Indmar, Malibu, PCM, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, and Yamaha.

Our summer season runs through November 1st, with a two week grace period to November 15th. We will prorate water storage for those diehard fishermen who prefer to run their season through December. Our winter season consists of hauling, power washing, blocking and relaunching for the upcoming season. Our gasoline and diesel fuel docks are open 7 days a week. Bathroom and shower facilities are located in the yellow building. Our best asset is our customers, who among themselves formed their own extended family.

We have been a staple of the community since 1947, when Caddie & Florence LaBar first opened it as a gas and service station. For over 60 years, we have served the Back Mountain and our business has expanded to include a variety of services including inspections, maintenance for cars, boats and ATVs, and our sales have expanded to include parts, accessories and Polaris ATVs & Accessories, Old Town Canoes & Kayaks, boats by Crestliner, Glastron, Lowe, and Tahoe Boats, and O'Brien Summer Watersports Products.

D & R Boat World perform all service work in-house, so your boat remains on the premises throughout the repair process. Available services include fiberglass work, canvas work, and engine work, and our technicians can handle everything from 12-foot Jon boats to 60-foot motor yachts. You can order parts from our parts department to complete DIY repairs on your boat at home if you prefer to do the work yourself. We also offer on-site calls, so you can have a service technician come to your boat instead of having to find a way to bring it into the service center.
