We broke down on a Sunday! Advantage had us in on a Wednesday and back on the water Friday! Several issues wrong and they did a great job taking care of them! Place is neat clean very friendly.

We are quite proud of our beautiful facility designed by the owner, Dave Weyer, featuring an indoor showroom for our new tri-toons, our large selection of accessories, and our 7 bay state of the art service center which can accommodate even the biggest cruisers. Advantage Marine began as Wilbus Marine in 1962 built by Bud and Peg Sharp. Its bright yellow gas dock, Bud's dry sense of humor and the big white German Shepherd dogs are included in the stories of many long-time boaters at Lake of the Ozarks. Advantage Marina has been working on my boat my cruiser at the lake the Ozarks for 10 years or more. Recently I had a problem With one engine backfiring . They went out there and spent five hours replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced at my expense and did not solve the problem. Sent me a bill and said the back firing could not be fixed. Told me after 10 years of servicing my boat that I had to find another mechanic. That my boat was to old and they did not like working on it. Looking back on the last 10 years advantage marine service department has taken too long to complete the work and the work has been way overpriced this should serve as a warning to anybody that owns an older boat on the lake of the Ozarks not to use advantage marine as their choice mechanic because they will give up and not solve the problem and then charge you for it. Since then I have a new mechanic that Has solved the backfiring problems and the engine runs awesome.
