In the Winter of 1998, a group of previous Hatteras Yacht employees came together to create Marine Tooling Technology, Inc. Their specialties: plugs and molds. Their abilities unlimited!
From 3D cad modeling services, plug building and part fabrication as well as modification to existing tooling, we are a one stop shop.
We can arrange to have your models cut at one of the router shops nationwide and complete your tooling up to and including the first part or several parts. We also have the tooling craftsmen to build plugs in-house.
No matter what your tooling needs are or what industry you represent we can help you.
We can accommodate molds up to 80 ft. and are capable of producing single and multi-part molds for the most complex pieces. We do not cut cost by sacrificing quality; we use the best products available and we use domestic materials in our plugs and molds. Using high temp resins and gels enables our molds to withstand high cycles and high exotherm.
We can produce molds from your existing plugs or existing CAD files. We can also help you with your design if needed using our in-house CAD Designer. We can provide parts and help you with shipping arrangements.
