Hi I am MikeI want to tell you a little bit about myself. I started boating at Lake Hartwell in Anderson, South Carolina when I was just a small child and have been boating ever since. My family opened a boat dealership while I was young in South Carolina and I purchased my first boat when I was just 15 years old. Our family moved to Dallas when I was 9 and we started boating on Lake Lewisville in 1969 and we joined Pier 121 Marina in 1975! Our first big boat for the family was our 1947 46? Chris Craft Double cabin enclosed bridge boat. Even though we were power boaters most of our lives my father did pick up sailing later in life and taught us all to sail as well. I currently personally own about 10 boats now! I have a passion for antique vessels and a couple of my favorites are our 1989 21? Century Cardel and our 1969 57? Chris Craft Constellation. My favorite thing to do is to go boating with my lovely wife, Katina, and our fur kid Rocket. A perfect afternoon is being at the lake with my family and friends. Jerry Whittle, Sr. was the founder of Jerry Whittle Boats. In the mid-1950’s he owned an appliance store in Ada, Oklahoma. Selling a few pre-owned boats in the parking lot led to a new line of aluminum boats displayed on his appliance showroom.With a couple of years under his belt, he was confident enough to convert his appliance store into an (at the time) state-of-the-art showroom. Using two Whirlpool washer pumps, he showcased four boats in continual motion around a 4’ deep circular pool filled with crystal blue water.In 1965 he decided to move his business to Lewisville, Texas. Jerry Whittle Boats has grown into one of the premier dealerships in the metroplex. We offer covered wet slips up to 50', uncovered slips up to 36', end-ties up to 50', slips with metered shore power up to 30A/50A, lakefront boat and trailer storage, two boat ramps at different elevations, a floating ship's store with 10 minute slips, two fuel pumps, dockside service with gasoline and oil purchases, vessel pumpout, boat brokerage service, used boats for sale, convenient parking, and more.
