While we are a rental and instructional company, we also do special events and tours, river and lake trips, sunset and moonlight paddles, fishing excursions, and almost anything else our members would like to do on the water in a paddle-craft. Callender Lake is one of the few lakes in Texas that is considered to be a constant level lake, as it is fed by natural springs and several different streams and water sources. The deepest part of the lake is about 18 feet. The State of Texas does not allow any water diversion (pumping from the lake) for any reason. The lake is managed by a joint CLPOIA/HHPOIA Fish & Wildlife Committee and is regularly stocked with a variety of fish. The Fish & Wildlife Committee also monitors all lake vegetation and fish habitats. Fishing is allowed from both boats and fishing piers but is reserved for residents and guests only and no professional guides are authorized on the lake. The lake is both a fishing and recreational lake. Jet skis, sailing boats, fishing boats, pontoon boats and other small boats are allowed. Because of the size and depth of the lake, large watercraft are not recommended because they induce large wakes that damage retaining walls and create unnecessary erosion of the dam.

Lake Fork Marina & Motel opened for business in 1986. We are located on Lake Fork Reservoir on the west arm of the lake. We are a full-service marina with gas on and off the water, a fully stocked tackle store with clothing, gifts and accessories. We have a 36-room motel, two 2-bedroom duplexes and two 4-bedroom lodges. We also have an RV park with water/sewer/electric (30 amp and 50 amp service) for annual lease, and full hook-up RV sites for short term overnight guests. For your convenience we have propane, guest laundry and a floating fish cleaning station as well as two launching ramps and covered boat slips (by reservation). We try to accommodate our guests with the best and most personal service possible. The Lake Fork Marina store is open 7 days a week to meet the needs of fishermen.
