Composite Yacht is a family business continuing the rich tradition of boat building on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. We enjoy working closely with our clients as they customize the boat that meets their specifications and appeals to their aesthetics. Our small crew size reflects our commitment to quality and the spirit of the Shore’s maritime culture. Martin Hardy is the managing member of Composite Yacht. With over 40 years of boat building experience, he has had the opportunity to work on projects ranging from historic reproductions to state-of-the-art luxury yachts. Martin’s sons work with him, Lewis as the Shop Manager and Lead Builder, and Rob as licensed USCG Captain and Sales Manager. Both have spent their lives in the boat building and marina environments.

Along with our brokerage services and maintenance department, we sell premier new and pre-owned boats to people in Virginia and across the coast.
