Captain Matt Trombley of 3rd Alarm Charters has been fishing in the beautiful waters of Lake Champlain for more than 30 years and brings the knowledge he's gained over the years to each and every client. He holds a United States Coast Guard 100-ton Master Captain's License, is a 30-year veteran of the fire service, and has spent the last 22 years with the City of Burlington, VT Fire Department. He is a Nationally Registered Advanced Emergency Medical Technician as well as a state and national instructor.

You will fish in comfort aboard the fully outfitted Cloud Nine, a 33 foot Egg Harbor with a 13.5 foot Beam with A/C and updated electronics for trolling comfort! Moored at River's Edge Campground on the Otter Creek, located at 47 Donovan Lane in Vergennes, Vermont.

We encourage our first time fly fisherman to take our free casting clinic here at the shop where we go over the basic equipment for fly fishing and techniques needed to master the sport.
