Freedom Boat Club was first founded in 1989 in Sarasota, FL. It is the oldest and largest boat club in the nation. The vision and purpose in establishing the boat club model was simple and straightforward - to to deliver a hassle-free recreational boating experience for its members. Today, Freedom Boat Club welcomes and embraces a broad mix of members to its ranks, from first-time boaters and newbies, to seasoned salts and former boat owners, from young families to active retired. Freedom Boat Club is also actively engaged in developing new and diverse markets. Anyone who loves the water and water-related activities is embraced as a member of Freedom Boat Club!

Sport boat club

The club consists of 88 privately owned docks. Some of the owners, from time to time, might decide to rent their dock for the season. When that happens, that site can help connect the owners and the renters so that you, the renter, can have boating access to beautiful Newfound Lake.

South Down Shores is a Planned Unit Development that has approximately 496 properties. Single family homes and lots are integrated with nineteen condominium villages. The community has 4,000 feet of shoreline on Lake Winnipesaukee, sandy beaches, a beach house, two tennis courts, a basketball court, skating pond, cross country ski trails, walking trails and a children’s playground. South Down Shores is a private gated community located on Parade Road (Route 106) in Laconia in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Laconia Country Club is located next door. The Laconia Airport and Gunstock Ski Area are about fifteen minutes away. Other ski areas are within an hour’s reach.
