A+ MEROLLA YACHT & BOAT MARINE SURVEYORS since 1980

As a Marine Surveyor since 1980 and with over 9,000+ vessel inspections, I pride myself in.l being a second generation surveyor who spent the extra time to learn my field to the best of my ability starting with a mechanical engineering background in high school then college. I then went on to study naval architecture and completed with many additional schools like the Chapman School of Seamanship (a four month course at that time).

I then served an additional five years as an apprentice under my father, a well known boat builder and custom design carpenter, where I learned all aspects of business, the marine industry and explaining issues commonly found with all type boats and yachts to the perspective buyers.
