Christos Charos began Captain’s Fishing Parties with a six-person boat used for bass fishing. He took people out fishing after work and on weekends, hoping to expand his side job into a company he could pass on to his children. His son George helped build the business after they purchased property at the Northern tip of Plum Island in the early seventies. George has mostly handed Captain’s Fishing Parties over to his two sons Chris and Ryan, and because of their families success, the company has grown to include four passenger vessels used for guided fishing trips, live music cruises and much more.
