HydroTec Marine opened it's doors in 1989, when founder Wayne Worthy saw an untouched market in Yamaha outboard high performance products. As a former technician and service rep for Yamaha, Wayne branched out on his own to start a business offering high performance products specifically for Yamaha outboards. Since then, HydroTec Marine has been an industry leader in not only high performance, but also as a power head remanufacturer. We began rebuilding Yamaha's of all sizes in the 90's and has never looked back. Thousands of powerhead rebuilds later, our goal is the same: to provide our customers an excellent product and an excellent experience throughout the entire rebuild process.
