Islesboro Marine Enterprises is a full service boatyard located at the north end of Islesboro island in Penobscot Bay. We operate a marine railway to launch and haul vessels up to fifty feet LOA and twenty tons gross weight. We offer a complete range of maintenance and repair services for wooden and fiberglass boats, including fiberglass repair, yacht joinery, fine finish work, and installation and repair of engines and systems. We also build, repair, and service docks and floats, and we service hundreds of moorings. We care for many classic wooden yachts.
