Growing up detailing was not a passion of mine. My passions consisted of wanting to be a meteorologist or K9 officer. It wasn’t until my mother got me my first vehicle where I started to have a desire to keep a car clean. I remember the first time washing my truck I started putting all my supplies away and my mother asked me if I dried the door jams. I proceeded to tell her no and she told me to grab a rag and wipe them down. She told me that’s how you get rust and grim build up. My mother and father both liked to keep their cars clean. Whether it was in south Florida or in North Carolina my parents were always washing their cars. But it was from that conversation with my mother where I started to focus on the actual details of cleaning a car.
