Capt. Joe Vater has over 50 years experience on sail and power boats up to 62 feet. His navigating resume includes the Great Lakes, Finger Lakes, Canal systems, Hudson River, Intracoastal Waterway, Florida Keys, Southwest Florida, and British Virgin Islands. His years of experience provides him with a wealth of boating knowledge that is applied to his Marine Survey and Boat Delivery services. His education in these areas include the Chapman School of Seamanship for Small Craft and Yacht Surveying, USSA Master Marine Surveying, American Boat and Yacht Council Certification, and USCG Captains License. He is also a member of SAMS® (AMS), Boat US and ABYC.
