Dean Lockwood was the original owner and John Shearer began working for him as a fishing deckhand in 1990. Dean taught Captain John the ways to fish in Lake Tahoe. Captain John and his wife Shannon later purchased the company in 1997. Over 20 years later, Tahoe Sport Fishing has the largest fishing fleet in Lake Tahoe and is continuously voted Best of Tahoe year after year! John and his wife Shannon have successfully grown the company into what it is today and put fishing back on the must-do list for year-round activities on Lake Tahoe!
